Who would have thought Salford Docks would ever look like this, I know my parents and grandparents would not recognise this picture. Whilst its sad we no longer have ocean going ships cruising the Manchester Ship Canal for 36 miles in-land and tieing up in what was once a busy sea port, at least we now have a modern booming tech and media center along with museums, theatre, water sports, shopping and residential areas.
