In the cold winter days it’s always good to look back out the warm colours of autumn.
This photo was taken whilst we were out walking from Arnside Knott in the north of Lancashire.
It’s a relatively small hill the panoramic views across Lancashire, Yorkshire, Morecambe Bay and the Lake District are stunning.
This walk starts in Arnside goes up the Knott then back down to the coast at the edge of Silverdale. We then followed the coast with a mix of scrambling over rocks or following the woodland path the contours round the the cliff tops.
A fantastic walk whatever the weather.
