One of the more challenging and frustrating things I have found about the lockdown rules this Winter is finding places to go that are quiet and with few people. As the shops, cinemas, sports centers etc. close people have headed out to the countryside to find some space. Unfortunatley, they are often ill equipped and have not got a clue how to look after themselves outdoors. I think on this day alone the volunteers at Bolton Mountan Rescue had to take part in 3 seperate rescues. They are true hero’s eveyone one of them.
After quite a bit of driving around we finally found a quiete spot to go for a walk and were rewarded with some stunning views and scenery.
