It’s wet, cold and windy outdoors today. So to do something that doesn’t involve cleaning, painting or tidying up I decided to decant the bramble whisky I laid down just after Christmas. #whisky

Any cheap whisky can be used. 750ml of whisky, 300g of caster sugar and 500-600g of autumn hedgerow fruit of your choice. I have started to reduce the sugar content but by bit and keep experimenting with different quantities in each batch. So far everyone who has tried it wants more.
It’s also a good way of recycling old bottles.
