I love this time of the year. There is always something to go foraging for.
Even better when a very kind person brings their surplus plumbs into work and gives them away for free. So I gladly took a bag home and started to think about what to do with them.
I have made plenty of batches of bramble whisky but never tried any other fruit. So a quick rummage through the cupboards found some whisky left over from my last batch and 10 minutes later had plumb whisky ready to mature.

Can’t wait to try it in 5 to 6 weeks time.
