Decided to see if the plum whisky was ready today.

To separate the plums from the whisky I use a cotton bag. It’s a two person job and my wife just smiled that smile when I asked her to hold my sack whilst I squeeze my plums.

Now debating what to do with the left over plums. Plum crumble and custard has been suggested. But I might wait for my apple vodka to mature and add those to the mix.
The plum whisky has worked well. Not too sweet and the whisky comes through without being to harsh. Having sampled some and inhaled the fumes whilst bottling definitely no driving for me tonight.
