So came back from holiday and my mead had stopped bubbling.
With some trepidation I started to decant it.

Wow it tastes fantastic. The blackberry flavour comes through with an after taste of alcohol. Unlike some meads I have tried that can be sickly sweet it’s just right. Everyone in the house and neighbour have sampled it and they all think it’s really good.
It will leave it to settle for a week and then will decant it again. Hopefully by then it will be a bit clearer as it cloudy.
But so happy as I have learned a new skill and can now make mead.
